Chain Nose Pliers
 The chain nose pliers will look like this in the animation. (It is a graphic representation of a chain nose pliers.)
Why is it two half circles?
The two half circles are more or less the shape of the pliers' prongs... at the point where the pliers grip the wire.
Round Nose Pliers
 The round nose pliers will look like this in the animation.
Why is it two circles?
The answer is the same for the round nose as the chain nose pliers. The two circles are more or less the shape of the pliers' prongs... at the point where the pliers grip the wire.
