Spring Feeling Pendant
Lampwork Pendants- I call this one my Spring Feeling pendant. It's a handmade glass bead pendant with sterling silver wire. It may not always be spring... but, you can always add a little of the feeling of spring to your jewelry.
Artist Made Lampwork BeadsA few years ago I couldn't find lampwork beads... not made by local artists anyway. I am happy to say that things have changed since then.
This bead was the first pendant-like (big enough) bead that I found. It stayed in the cupboard for a while and eventually I made it into a pendant.
Bead TopI used a simple wrap at the top of the bead.
Bead BottomAnd, I used a soft-bend spiral with a small sterling silver donut bead at the bottom of the glass bead. I hammered the small spiral to give it an interesting shape and to strengthen it.
