Silver Chandelier EarringsThese handmade sterling silver chandelier earrings have garnet dangles. The red berry gemstone dangles are hanging from hand formed scrolls. The chandeliers are hanging from hand-forged earwires.  Hand Formed Scrolls The scroll part of the piece has been hammered to a shiny surface. The metal of the earwires is hand polished. The Garnet Dangles There are six garnet bead dangles in total... three on each earrings. Each dangle is made from a piece of sterling silver on which a tiny ball was formed. The bead is secured onto the dangle with a loop and a tight wire wrap. The Hand-Forged Earwires The earwires are formed by hand from 18 ga or 1 mm thick wire and hammered into shape. Size Look at the picture below, the one with my hand... it's easy to get a quick idea of the size of the earrings. The length of one earring is a bit more than 1.8 inches or 47 mm.  Handcrafted One of the features (and beauty) of handmade work is that the pieces are unique. Minor variations from one piece to another is a characteristic.
