Flower Pendants
This is one of the sterling silver flower pendants that I have made with wire. I love flowers and I guess it is no surprise that they find their way into my handmade jewelry.
The jewelry piece is entirely made out of wire and that includes the bail.
I thought this flower pendant was a bit big for me when I first made it. I put it away for a while.
I really liked it when I saw it again. I tried it on a shorter length rope chain and it looked really good.
How Big is the Pendant?
The flower is about 2 inches or 5 cm long and with the bail-links it's about 2.75 inches or 7 cm long.
I used a spiral as the center of the flower. I soldered it onto the petals.
The bail section consists of three soldered links. All these components were round wire originally. That was before I started hammering and forming them. The link that joins to the one petal of the flower is made out of a two jump rings. They were soldered together to give the double-round-wire appearance.
