Wire Wrap Pendant

 28 Garnets

Wire Wrap Pendant

Garnet Beads & Silver Wire
I used garnet beads to make this wire wrap pendant. They are 0.15" or 4 mm in diameter. I used sterling silver wire for the wrapping. The wire is 28ga or 0.32mm.

Twisted Wire Rings
The rings that I used were made of twisted silver wire... 21ga or 0.75mm.

Wire Wrap Pendant... Back This is a picture of the back of the pendant. I planned this side to be the back of the pendant. I didn't realize that the wire will form such a neat crisscross pattern. With a little planning and careful work it can also be used as the front of the pendant.
If you'd like to make something similar...
I would say the trickiest part is to figure out how many beads are going to fit into the inner circle. The wrapped wire between the beads takes up quite a bit of space once you start wrapping the beads onto the frame.

My tip to you is...

Take the wrapped wire between the beads into consideration when you work out how many beads are going to fit without gaps.
